A handsome example of a poetry work Rose Garden of Secrets by one of the most celebrated Persian Sufi poets Mahmoud Shabestari with a contemporary binding. The book comes from a private French collection, possibly of the orientalist and translator Charles-Henri-Auguste Schefer (1820 – 1898).
