Description

This attractive futuristic cover, combining the motifs of modern technology through the technique of photomontage, was made as a cover to a Croatian text explaining the contemporary technological progress to children and youth.

The author of the cover was today forgotten artist Ladislaw Noworyta. This underappreciated book designer is known through his signatures in the books from 1930s. He was probably a son of Stanislav Noworyta (1880-1963), a Polish immigrant from Lviv, who settled in Croatia and became one of the pioneers of Croatian movie, starting with his documentary in 1903.
