Description

A decorative original colourful postcard by the Wiener Werkstaette, numbered 444 verso, shows the Charlottenburg Palace in Berlin.

The draftsman was Franz Kuhn (1889–1952), an Austrian engineer and illustrator, and a co-worker at the Winer Werkstaette in his youth. Leter he worked as a designer of interiors and furniture and participated on larger building projects. Franz Kuhn was a brother of Dina Kuhn, a ceramic designer at the Wiener Werkstaette.
