Description
The magazine invited young engineers from the Ottoman Empire and from abroad to publish their articles and sketches. Numerous texts were written by various important engineers and architects, as several of the articles were published unsigned.
The subjects are mostly concentrated on construction of bridges and railways, but also on modern machinery and mathematics. The subjects became important for big projects, such as the construction of the Hejaz Railway, engineering solutions on various parts of the Baghdad railway and water regulations in today’s Iraq.
Worldcat lists two institutional examples (National Library of Israel, Universiteitsbibliotheek Leiden).
