Description

The author Mehmet Ziya Gökalp (1876 – 1924) was a Turkish nationalist and a founder of the modern sociology in Turkey. Next to his scientific works Mehmet Ziya also published poetry, where he expressed his patriotist ideas in verses.

Mehmet Ziya wrote two books on Konya, the second one being Bursa’dan Konya’ya Seyahat (Travel from Bursa to Konya), published in the same year as the present title.
