Description

The elaborate manual of protocol in French language for the Kingdom of Egypt was made during the reign of Farouk I (1920 – 1965), who was known for his lavish lifestyle, before he was overthrown in 1952.

The book contains transcriptions of imperial orders on the banquets, various rules for international meetings, ceremonies and other events related to the royal family and ministers. The book is accompanied with lavish illustrations with text, depicting and describing official decorations and medals, military orders and flags.
