Description
A detailed book in Ottoman language, accompanied with French titles and charmingly mimeographed in two tones of purple is richly illustrated with images of machines and their parts, charts and various sketches.
The text was probably written by a lecturer at the university and multiplied in small quantity, mostly for the use of the university students, possibly at the Yıldız Technical University, founded in 1911 (please also see the following item).
All such Ottoman mimeographed books are exceedingly rare. We could not find any Institutional examples In western libraries.
