Description

Th map with original color in outline shows the Battle of Meissen, fought on December 4th 1759. The battle was an Austrian victory over a larger Prussian army during the Seven Years’ War. 

The map appeared within Raspe’s battle atlas of the Seven Years’ War, Schau Platz des gegenwartigen Kriegs durch accurate Plans von den wichtigsten Bataillen und Belagerungen (1762), as plate no. 63, but was likely also sold separately.
