Description
A very early translation of one of the first first hand accounts on the Treblinka concentration camp. The article Треблинский ад (The Hell in Treblinka), published in 1944 by a Russian Jewish propagandist Vasily Grossmann. He collected some of the first eyewitness account, as early as 1943, which disseminated at the Nuremberg Trials as evidence for the prosecution. This is a Slovenian (Ex-Yugoslavia) translation of the text from 1946. The illustrations were made by an artist Ivan Romih, who after the WW II specialised in ethnological and historical drawings for museums. They show a map of Treblinka and scenes from everyday cruel life at the concentration camp.
