Description
The Polish writer of Jewish origin Stanisław Wygodzki (1907-1992) was during WWII interred in the Bedzin ghetto, in the concentration camps of Auschwitz, Dachau, Oranienburg and Sachsenhausen. After the war he moved to Israel.
The stunning dustjacket design was made by a polish designer Marian Stachurski (1931-1980), who studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts and was mostly known for his unusual movie posters.
