Description

A rare primer, printed in the last year of the use of Perso-Arabic letters in Turkish Republic, is accompanied with black and white illustrations, partly taken from Western sources.

The primer not only promotes the education of children, but with its cover also the importance of educated women.

Not much is known about the first two editions, but the third and the fourth one were both published in 1928 and differ slightly by their covers.

We could trace a single example on Worldcat (Boğaziçi University Library).
