A book includes detailed information on development of urbanism in post WWII Serbia until 1953. The text is accompanied with photoreproductions, sketches, reproductions of historical maps and drafts for new projects.

The editor Mihajlo Mitrović (born 1922) is a Serbian architect, who studied in France and Denmark with a scholarship of the United Nations in 1950. In the next decades he was responsible for many urban plans of Serbian cities. He was also a professor at the University, and author or numerous architectural projects and exhibitions.
