This is an attractive map of the Strait of Hormuz, the entrance of the Persian/Arabian Gulf, and the world’s premier shipping lane for the petroleum industry.   The map details the Bandar Abbas area of Persia and the Kish Island, as well as the Musandam enclave of Oman, that lies across the strait.  The map comes from a circa 1930 Persian language atlas.
