Description
A scientific text on the continuity of the ideas of the Young Turks was written in the late 1960s by Şerif Mardin (1927 –2017) one of the most prominent 20th century Turkish sociologists and political scientists. Mardin, a specialist in the intellectual history of the Ottoman Empire, completed PhD studies in political science at Stanford University.
The text was published by Robert College of Istanbul, a private high school, which in 1971 became Bogazici University, after private high schools were banned by the state.
