  An Excellent sea chart of Lisbon Harbour, made under the direction of the British Admiralty, considered the finest and most accurate nautical map of the Mouth of the Tagus of the first half of the 19th Century.

  A colourful map in Estonian language shows Tallinn, the capital of the Estonian Republic, between two world wars, in 1937, three years before the Soviet invasion. The map also includes streets, which were planned to be constructed in the following years.

  A scarce first post World War II population survey of the disputed territory of Istria, published in two volumes, accompanied with statistical maps, was issued in Sušak, Croatia, in 1946.

  A rare pamphlet written on the eve of the Abolition of Slavery, urging that the uniquely high duties on West Indies Rum be lowered and harmonized with the tariffs placed upon other hard spirits made across the British Empire, written by John Innes, a prominent merchant and lobbyist, addressed to the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

  This anonymous pamphlet mounts a forceful defence of the beleaguered West Indies sugar industry and calls for the imposition of tariffs to protect it from the juggernaut of competition from the East Indies.
