Description

A detailed tourist map of Istanbul from 1969 showcases every building of the city in the bird’s eye view and the images on the back present the Asian and European coast of Istanbul and the Bosporus along with the information on the city in English.

The maps was based on a popular large tourist bird’s eye view of Istanbul, drafted by architects and restorers Şevket Özden (1926-2020) and İlban Öz, first published in 1966.
