Description

The book of prayers in Russian language was printed for a large Russian population in Istanbul and was according to the text copied after a book, printed by the Synod Press in Saint-Petersburg in 1914.

The pamphlet was probably printed for the White Russian refugees in Istanbul, which in 1925, hosted an exceedingly large number of Russian population, that escaped the revolution only a few year earlier. Several prints were made for them by the local printers and the Orthodox church.

We could not find any institutional examples.
