Description
A rare first edition of the pamphlet on the first-hand account of the Russian Revolution and the censorship of the British press regarding the intervention of the allies was published by Morgan Philips Price (1885 – 1973) in Switzerland in 1918. The publishing house Promachos in Belp (Bern) was specialized in communist publiscations.
Price was a British politician and a war reporter for the Eastern Front and the Russian Revolution. In this text he reveals the events and encounters between the allies and Russians, which were omitted from the British press. In 1921, he returned to England, where he showed sympathy for Lenin and the Bolsheviks.
The second edition was printed in the following year in Moscow.
