Description

An unusual manuscript broadside in Ottoman language, showcasing the significance of birthmarks and moles on person’s face and connecting them with various vices and virtues and characters, such as cowardly, timid, coy, lustful, brave, hardworking etc.

The broadside was possibly made in the late 19th century under the influence of similar superstitious beliefs from the West.
