  A book with collected works of Vladimir Mayakovsky, with a decorative cover, was printed in Russian language in Berlin in 1923.

  An original official illustrated binder with promotional material, including original photographs, was made for a Yugoslav-Czechoslovak science fiction movie Visitors from Galaxy in 1981. It was directed by Dušan Vukotić, one of the most famous 20th century Yugoslavian directors, who, in 1962, won the first Academy Award for this cartoon Surogat – the first awarded non-American cartoon.

  An uncommon book on a Yugoslav politician in exile Vladimir Dedier and the Bernard Russell Piece Foundation with articles in different languages was published for a a World Congress on Human Rights in Tension in Rio de Janero in 182. The copy was signed by Vladimir Dedijer.

  A Russian translation of Baudelaire’s Les Fleurs du Mal, which was considered the best one at the time, was published by a Russian émigré press in Paris.

  A beautiful large rare separately issued art-deco map of the Kingdom of Yugoslavija was issued in Croatian language as an advertisement for a large department store Stermecki, based in Celje, Slovenia, in the early 1930s. 

  An early groundbreaking thick richly illustrated guidebook for Slovenian immigrants to the United States, was written by a Slovenian priest Jurij Matej Trunk, and includes numberless original drawings and photographs of people and landscape by a Slovenian immigrant and photographer Anton Terbovec. It was published in Klagenfurt, Austria, in Slovenian language in 1912. 

  A rare set of 3 magazines on literature was published in Ukrainian language by Ukrainian exiles in Prague in 1931 and 1932. From a library of a Ukrainian exile Ilarion Ohienko, later Metropolitan bishop of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Winnipeg, Canada.

  An extraordinary single-issue Tatar language magazine, largely in Ottoman script, published in Stockholm, in 1952, by exiles from the Soviet Union.

  The first economical research of Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic with a large mineralogical map was made by the first Chairman of the Council of People s Commissars of Tajikistan, who was later executed for treason.

A decorative rare invitation card, designed by a famous Slovenian Architect Jože Plečnik, for his honorary doctorate, with usual contemporary manuscript corrections of the wrong quoted year.

  An émigré Cossack periodical with inserted folding map of the Kuban region of Russia was edited by a former Major-Genera,l White Russian Vyacheslav Naumenko, who escaped the post WWII Repatriation of Cossacks.

  A book on contemporary Slovenian dance was written and designed in 1975 by a dancer and architect Marija Vogelnik, a student of Jože Plečnik. Signed by the author.

  An excellent large-format official map of British Guiana, made under the direction of George D. Bayley, the colony’s Land Commissioner, rich in new information from recent surveys.

  An interesting, ephemeral photoprint map especially made for trekkers depicting the southern approaches to Mount Everest, published in Kathmandu, Nepal.
